New Nail Polish Review!

Okay, finally a beauty post! Since I am wanting to have a theme of beauty related articles on my blog, it's about time to have something relevant to beauty on here. I recently discovered a new nail polish while I was out shopping the other day, by the brand Broadway Nails. They make a lot of press-on nails and nail related items(which I love, and purchase often) but this was the first time I had ever come across the nail polish. The  polish was only $1.00 per bottle, which was great, because the pres-on nails that require no glue cost around $7-$8 a package. Apparently other people loved this price as well, because by time I discovered the
Broadway Nails polish rack, it was pretty bare. Very few polishes remained for me to choose from but I did find one I really liked. I only wanted to get one as an initial test of the product since this would be my first time painting my nails with it. Like a lot of other beauty obsessee's I didn't want to purchase a lot, then be disappointed if it wasn't a good quality polish, when that money could be used on other beauty products! The color I chose was a light pastel purple.I thought it was very pretty and I have been getting into more pastel shades of polish, but I do like colors all across the board- from light and sheer all the way to super dark, glittery and everything in between. I hadn't noticed in the store, but when I got home and ready to paint my nails this polish had not only a number but a name well! I love when polishes have names and not just a number. My polish was number 43 and named "Easter Annie", a perfect name for this color, before noticing the name my boyfriend and I commented that it looked like an "easter egg color"! When I started to put the polish on I noticed it went on very smooth- a very important factor to me when deciding if a polish is good quality or not. It also needed no more than two coats and most of my nails were fine with one coat. I really liked the way it turned out, pics will follow. I really like how the polish turned out and want to point out I am not wearing a base coat or top coat in the pics because I like to test out how long the polish will last and how good the actual wear is. I probably will add a topcoat tonight, but as of now it has not chipped at all and that
never happens for me without at least a topcoat. If anyone has any recommendations or wants to know how
a particular polish or color wears I would love for you to comment with a request,or comment about any beauty product(it's one of my favorite subjects!).

Disclosure:All opinions are my own and I purchased this with my own money. I will always declare if something I blog about is a sponsored post, and will only state truthful opinions.

Here lately I have been wanting to increase my income with the holidays coming up and there's always something that comes up where just a little extra money would help so much. I joined this website called Instagc around February of this year(2013), but didn't really pay attention to it because I belong to several sites of this type- you know, the type where you can earn points and cash them out for prizes like merchandise, gift cards, paypal funds and contest entries. In my case I have found that a lot of these sites make you accumulate a lot of points, and I mean a lot before you can redeem them for anything and that gets annoying because to me, it feels like I am wasting my time and feels like it will take forever to get anything worthwhile. In the past two weeks or so, I decided to get back on the site and look. I'm really glad I went back and checked it out.
The first thing I noticed is there is a very handy chat bar to the right side of the page and if you have a question, you can ask and people will help you ,there is always a moderator on as well. Then I started to look at the point values and found that 1 point = .01 cent, and I really liked that because that makes sense (unlike some of the other sites). Above the chat bar on the right there is a bar where you can set the goal of your gift card. At first I made my goal a $25 Amazon card, then I looked at how much you can redeem and you can actually set your  goal  to $1, $2 and $5! That's really cool and a lot of people cash out the lower amounts to have them for shipping costs, etc and if you get an Amazon card and apply it to your Amazon account it never expires. I ended up setting my goal for a $5 Amazon card and it didn't take me long to redeem for it! It took a couple hours(3-4) each day for 2 days, then I cashed out and put it on my Amazon account. I got back on tonight and I am halfway to my next $5 card! And it's not just Amazon cards, they have lots of others like Wal-mart, Best Buy, Bath and Body Works, cards for gaming and you can request a check if you would rather have that! They have an easy to use navigation system and helpful guides on the bottom left of the page. I have put my banner on my page(top right) that shows my Instagc info and you should join me on there!
